A retrospective exhibition of the artist from The Netherlands Viktor Majdandžic will take place at the Royal Opera Arcade (ROA) Gallery in London from 27 January till 14 February 2014.   The Opening Reception will be held on Monday, 27 January, starting at 6pm.

Curated by Zina Bercovici, the exhibition will showcase  bright colours, geometric forms and extravagance of Viktor Majdandžic’s artworks, created over the past two decades.  Born in Bosnia, Viktor immigrated to The Netherlands in 1969, where he worked as an art therapist and an artist.  His works have been displayed at more than 125 exhibitions in 12 countries, including recent shows in New York, Florence, Las Vegas, Montreal, Geneva, Brussels, Amsterdam and London.

The ROA gallery is inside the Royal Opera Arcade, off Pall Mall and a step away from Piccadilly Circus and Trafalgar Square.  The address is: 1 and 2 Royal Opera Arcade, 5b Pall Mall, London, SW1Y 4UY.

“Lights in the Winter” international contemporary art exhibition Opening Night took place at La Galleria Pall Mall in central London on Monday, 9 December.  It was a vibrant art party with lot of visitors and live music by singer songwriter Frazer Kennedy, who launched his new CD High Time on the night.  Enjoy the photos of the Opening Night!

International Contemporary Art Exhibition

Celebration of light is an ancient tradition representing people’s desire to spread light and warmth during the dark winter months.  In ancient times it was believed by many cultures that the winter solstice was a time for celebration of lights and we continue this tradition across the world today.  The theme for this winter’s exhibition at La Galleria Pall Mall in London is the celebration of Lights.  The opening date of the exhibition is close to this year’s Winter Solstice.

La Galleria Pall Mall is located inside the famous John Nash Royal Opera Arcade in St James’s.  The arcade is specialized in high quality boutiques holding very special items. The Gallery is only minutes away from the National Gallery in Trafalgar Square.  It is equipped with the most modern hanging and lightning devices (www.lagalleria.org).  It will be open to the public every day from 10:00 in the morning till 18:00.

The exhibition will take place between 8 – 14th December, 2013.   The opening event will take place in the evening of the 9th December (Monday), between 6.30pm – 9.30pm.

Singer/ songwriter Frazer Kennedy (vocals and guitar) and guitarist Rick Joseph will entertain you at La Galleria Pall Mall.   A new CD by Frazer Kennedy “High Time” will be launched on the night.

The fifth edition of the “Spirit of Art”  international contemporary group exhibition – Spirit of Art Returns to Vienna, is coming on 10 – 16 June 2013 at MOYA – Museum of Young Art, located in the pictorial 17th century Palais Schonborn (Renngasse 4, 1010 Vienna).

The Opening Night is on Monday, 10 June from 7.00pm till 10.00pm.  The exhibition is curated by international art curator Zina Bercovici.  Spirit of Art exhibition in Vienna is a part of the “Spirit of Art” series of international group exhibitions that run in major cities of Europe.

46 artists from 22 countries will be honoured to present their artworks at the show.  Art lovers will see original paintings, sculptures and digital photos of the artists.  The exhibitors are coming from Austria, Belgium, China, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Israel, Italy, Japan, Norway, Poland, Republic Kosovo,  Serbia, Slovenia, South Korea, Spain,  The Netherlands, Turkey and Great Britain.
